I'm not quite sure the point....

We are aware that many of our family and friends out there are not quite sure what a blog is, much less why anyone would want to blog their honeymoon! Well to start with, a blog is like an internet newspaper. The latest post is at the top of the page, so you don't have to scroll down to find anything you've missed. Check out this YouTube video if you're confused.

So, why would we want to blog our honeymoon? Well, there are many reasons. Firstly, because despite what you may have heard, the internet is not a fad. This joker will be around for a while, so think of it like a scrapbook. Perhaps this can live on for other generations. Feel free to share it with others that you think might be interested. Anyone is invited.

Secondly, with a blog you can share with us. Notice how there's a comments section for each article? Well, that means you can leave little comments for us or for each other. Now, we won't actually be reading any of these comments until we get back... so don't expect any questions to be answered before May 14th or so.

Thirdly, because we live in a day where this is really easy to do, so why not? We can do this without ever visiting an internet cafe or even spending more than about 2 minutes or so on it every day. I know you don't believe us--but it's computer magic.

We would like to point out that most blogs contain a healthy amount of sarcasm. This one is absolutely no exception. So enjoy with us as we travel through the Mediterranean. It'll be fun... much more so for us on the trip than for those of you living vicariously through a computer screen, but--hey, it's better than nothin'!

The trip is May 2 through May 13. Come back to http://greekmoon.blogspot.com (or if you are so technically inclined, subscribe to our RSS feed) and follow our adventures.

Ciao!

A & J
